A 77-year-old woman was driving through an intersection in Brooklyn when her vehicle struck a public bus. The elderly woman sustained leg and neck injuries. The verdict was reached in Kings County Supreme Court.
(New York Labor Law Section 240) – A male construction worker, age 28, suffered a severe hand injury requiring surgery. He suffered no other physical injuries aside from the hand but as a result could no longer return to work.

A 72-year-old male suffered aggravation of a pre-existing spine condition that required several spine surgeries prior to the accident, including 2 spine fusion surgeries during the same year as our accident. Defendants argued junction failure and pre-existing spine condition. Case settled while engaged in trial proceedings.

Defendants argued our client resided within the unit for more than 10 years and was aware of the defect.
