My name is Michael Heffernan, and I’m one of the associate attorneys here at Chopra and Nocerino. I was born and raised in a small town right outside of Scranton, Pennsylvania, and after attending Hofstra Law School, I’ve been practicing law here on Long Island ever since.
My inspiration to become a lawyer came from my aunt, who was a mentor to me and someone I always looked up to. She led me toward law school, and once there, I developed my own interest in personal injury law, which ultimately led me to pursue this career.
What I find most rewarding about being an attorney is getting the best results for people who have been injured. There’s no better feeling than winning a case for a client and getting them everything they deserve. It’s about making them whole again.
